How to: Make Your Own Hand Scrub (Exfoliator)

Do your hands show your true age?
There is an old saying that no matter  how young your face looks,
your hands will give your age away.
It is really true and so it's very important to take good care of your hands.
Keep them hydrated, use hand scrub to exfoliate dead skins,
apply hand creams and sunscreen to keep them looking supple.

Today I'm going to show you an inexpensive way on
how to make your very own 'Honey Sugar Hand Scrub'!

The nicer ones on the market are pretty pricey,
it could run from around $12 up to $38!!!

The preparation is super super easy, and the ingredients are very simple as well.

You will need:
1 tablespoon Sugar (or brown sugar)
1 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or coconut oil, or jojoba oil)

 1. Add 1 tablespoon sugar (or brown sugar)
2. Add 1 tablespoon honey

 3. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil
4. stir to mix everything together (10-15 seconds)

5. When your mixture looks like this, you are done
6. Apply mixture to your hands

 7. Rub in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes.
Add a little bit of water if you feel the mixture is too sticky.
(Avoid hot water as sugar will dissolve and lose its scrubbing ability.)
Pay special attention to any rough areas or cuticles.

 8. Rinse your hands with water. Use hand soup if you wish.

9. Towel dry and apply your favorite hand cream
and you're done^-^

Crabtree & Evelyn - Gardeners Hand Therapy
250ml/8.5 oz - $28
Currently using this one, love it.

Ta-da...!!!
Super soft and younger-looking hands
you just can't stop touching them...
so soft like baby hands...

Notes:
1. This recipe is for 1 time use only. If you have leftovers, use them on elbows or feet. Do not put the rest of the mixture to the refrigerator. Fresh is always the best!
2. I do not recommend using this hand scrub on your face. Only on hands and feet.
3. Use this hand scrub once a week or whenever you feel your hands are dull and cuticles are ragged.

[edited notes]
I just found out that Michelle Phan also uses this recipe, see the video below. She uses this on her face, but if you have sensitive skin like I do, use only on your hands and feet. Have fun :)
