Revlon Nail Enamel - 281 Classy (Review and Swatches)

Hi ♥ Revlon Classy is one of the new 20 shades Revlon released to mark the brand's 80th anniversary. As named, this Classy shade is classic, yet elegant and flirty. It's perfect for the spring season, and even all year around.

I would describe this shade as a dusty peachy pink type of nude. It gives nails lives without looking too dull and boring like some other nude shades. The formulation of this particular shade is great, 1 coat will give you an almost opaque glossy finish, I would say about 90-95% opacity, and the drying time is pretty good! (the pictures above are 2 coats)

The brush is quite narrow, but since the formulation and the consistency are quite good, the application went pretty well.

This is only 1 coat without top coat. You can barely see through, they look like 100% opaque with a lovely glossy finish ♥ I would say this is like mannequin shade, but with more lives to it as this has more peachy pink to it, very feminine, perfect everyday and interview.

I went for 2 coats to see if there's any differences. Here are 2 coats with Seche Vite dry fast top coat. The second layer just intensified the color more... but I think 1 coat will be just great and pretty!

Would you wear it?

  2. Popped over from your easter nail post!
I got this polish about a month ago and wasn't sure for the longest time until I put it on my toes. It's the absolute perfect pedi color.
And now that you mention it, a great color for interviews. Though, as a babysitter, sometimes crazy fun nail art can really win a kid over haha!
