Last week during CVS's Wet n Wild BOGO FREE sale, I was going to pick up both Petal Pusher and Comfort Zone eyeshadow palettes. But the only 2 Comfort Zone left on the display were all shattered so I told myself, ok, I already have enough neutrals, maybe I should try some "colors" so I grabbed this along with Petal Pusher to the cashier. (for review/swatches/eye makeup look on Petal Pusher, click here)

From top left:
Browbone: silvery white with a hint of very light blue, frosted finish, semi-sheer pigment. I wouldn't use it for browbone, but it's a perfect tear duct shade.
Eyelid: light shimmery silver with a frosted finish , great pigment.
Crease: matte black base with very fine deep navy blue sparkles, semi-sheer pigment. It looks like deep navy in the pan, but swatched black with blue sparkles. However, but these blue sparkles don't show much after tapping the brush.
Definer: matte black, semi-sheer pigment - it's not as intense and bold even after laying. I like that there's a matte black in it, great for tightlining or setting eyeliners.

From top right:
Browbone: light baby blue with a hint of green shimmer, great pigment with frosted finish. Again I wouldn't use this for browbone as this has a shimmery frosted finish. (I personally prefer matte for browbone) However, this works beautifully with the aqua-teal eyelid shade down below.
Eyelid: this is a beautiful bright aqua-teal shimmer with frosted finish, soft/smooth texture, great/intense pigment, you really do have to use very little of this shade.
Crease: deep navy with satin finish, weak/sheer pigment. Definitely need some layering to get the desired level of pigmentation.
Definer: matte black base with silver sparkles, weak/sheer pigment. I'd say this definer shade and deep navy crease shade above have the weakest pigment in this palette. Also, those silver sparkles don't transfer well, they disappear once swatched or applied.

After playing around with these colors, I'm glad I gave it a try. Though there're some brighter shades that scared me at first, the darker ones really coordinate and compliment well with the brighter ones. I just wish there's a lighter matte for browbone highlight and those 4 darker shades (crease/definer) could be more pigmented. The staying power is great, the color stay fresh and vibrant all day with very minimal fading, at least 7-8 hours on me.

And here is the eye makeup look using this palette.
