Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana 2 coats (over 1 coat of essence No More Drama)

This is my Monday manicure, and I super super super love it! Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana is a beautiful multi-color micro shimmer in a soft pinkish purple base. These sparkles look almost like holographic in real life, very very pretty. I layered it over 1 thin coat of essence No More Drama - a pastel lavender shade as Hannah Pinktana is pretty sheer by its own.

The consistency of  Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana was ok, a bit more on the thin end. And it's quite easy to work with, no streaking and dries fairly quickly. When indoor, silver micro-shimmers seem to dominate more (though you can still see other shimmering colors), but under the sunlight, oh my goodness, those shimmers shift like rainbow, so so so pretty!!!

Last week during CVS's Wet n Wild BOGO FREE sale, I was going to pick up both Petal Pusher and Comfort Zone eyeshadow palettes. But the only 2 Comfort Zone left on the display were all shattered so I told myself, ok, I already have enough neutrals, maybe I should try some "colors" so I grabbed this along with Petal Pusher to the cashier. Another item I got early this week during CVS's Wet n Wild Buy One Get One FREE sale. Petal Pusher is a great eyeshadow palette for purple eye makeup looks. I didn't expect much when I pick this up, but I'm glad I got it! The pigmentation especially the darker shades are great, and the colors are just gorgeous. 

Wet n Wild Pick Your Poison Collection: Toxic Apple

So this week CVS is having Buy One Get One FREE sale on Wet n Wild products. While I was browsing all the displays, Wet n Wild's new Pick Your Poison Collection display jumped out at me, and I picked up 2 polishes that I thought would look pretty on the nails during this time of the year. 

Toxic Apple is a dark purple with shimmers jewel-toned shade. It looks pretty in the bottle, sadly the shimmers didn't transfer that well onto the nails as I'd hoped. On nails, it showed more dark navy than purple, and without direct sunlight, you can barely see the shimmers. Pigmentation and drying time were great, opaque in 2 coats. However, the formulation was more on the goopy side, and the brush was gigantic!

Picture above was taken under direct sunlight. I really love the purple/navy/magenta shimmers, they're really pretty to look at under the sunlight, but just didn't show much when indoor...which was a disappointment ~_~

Wet n Wild megalast - I Need a Refresh-Mint (218A) Swatches and Review

Hello ♥ how's all your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxing. Today I have a very cute nail polish to share with you, and it's actually on my nails right now. It's "I Need a Refresh-Mint" from Wet n Wild megalast nail polish line! This is a very cute and lovely Tiffany & Co. signature cream aqua type of shade with a glossy finish! Very fun and bright for spring and summer, yet not neon-ly bright. So it's very wearable if you think neon colors are just too bright for you. It gives your nails a pop without looking over the top! 

I Need a Refresh-Mint, 2 coats + top coat

This cream texture of this polish is just fabulous, very easy and smooth to apply! It's creamy and opaque! 2 coats will completely give you the full opacity you desired! And the consistency is pretty good as well (not too thick or thin). On MUA, people compared this to China Glaze's For Audrey. This is a great dupe with cheaper price tag. I don't own For Audrey myself, but I've seen comparison swatches and they both look very much identical!

Hi ♥ Hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. A while back I took advantage of Wet n Wild 40% off all cosmetics sale, I wanted to review the Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in  Sweet As Candy that I got around using. With the high expectation from using their eyeshadow trio in Silent Treatment, this Sweet As Candy trio looked quite promising when I picked it up at the store. 

Rite Aid Haul

This week Rite Aid is having 40% off sale on Revlon face and eye cosmetics, all Wet n Wild cosmetics and all Almay eye cosmetics and makeup removers. I thought it's a good time to stock up my favorite Almay removers and try some new things^^

♥ Softsoap antibacterial hand soap. There're some Softsoap hand soap on sale for only 97 cents! but this one has "antibacterial, eliminates 99% of germs" on the packaging so I got this, gotta make sure everybody's hands are germs free when coming home from outside and throughout the day! I tried it last night, it was not harsh on the hands at all (surprised surprised!). It did not dry out my hands and the smell was soft and light. 

♥ Almay eye makeup remover pads. I have used so many of these already. It's the best drugstore eye makeup remover pads I have ever used (to remove long wear gel/creme eyeliners and waterproof mascaras!!), great for use at home and travel!

♥ Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in 381B Sweet as Candy. I still use Wet n Wild Color Icon eyeshadow trio in 335 Silent Treatment sometimes and I like it a lot, especially the light pink brow bone shade and the purple/silver taupe eyelid shade! So I wanted to try other shades from this line, but only shades that's in my comfort zones. I think  Sweet as Candy trio is a sweet ice cream shades that's great for spring and summer, plus... it's neutral!!! ha ha ha I can't wait to try them. (they're only $1.79 +tax after 40% off!)

♥ Sinful Colors nail polish in the shade Flirting Nails. This is my first Sinful Colors nail polish. This seems like an interesting and beautiful gold/nude shade and the quality of this gold is quite good, I thought it's worth trying. (regular price $1.99)

♥ Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner. I've heard so many good reviews about this one, many have said that this is compatible to MAC's Fluidline blacktrack so I wanted to try it myself since my MAC fluidline cream eyeliner is running low. ($2.39 + tax after 40% off)
