Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter
Left to right: Strawberry Shortcake, Peach Parfait, Lollipop
Last Friday I got my very first Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in the shade Strawberry Shortcake. (my haul here) I tried it and liked how it felt on my lips as well as the butter like application that I went back and bought another two shades, Peach Parfait and Lillipop.

The packaging looks cheap in my opinion, but I really like the idea that each shade has its own pkg color that match the color inside the tube. Also, with a clear top it's very easy to find the color you want instead of looking into every lipstick or label...this helps a lot especially when you have a decent amount of lip products!

Strawberry Shortcake is the only creamy one out of these 3 shades. If you like cool toned light pink lippie, you will like this! It's a creamy cool tone light pink with a hint of purple. It's sheer yet not too sheer, you can still build up the color on the lip. I found it too cool toned for my liking and skin tone, but I really like the creamy butter like texture so I like to apply a thin layer for a everyday look with a hint of pink.
Peach Parfait got the most shimmers. It's a warm peachy pink shade with lots of silver particles. I really like the base color of this, a great everyday shade, but am not a big fan of these shimmers.
Lollipop is a beautiful bright pink with very minimum shimmers. I really adore this shade, it instantly brighten up my face once applied. It's so so pigmented I felt it's like lipstick! 2 layers will give you an almost opaque coverage, you certainly don't need the lip liner ha ha... I also like to dab lightly on the lip for day look, very pretty!

All in all, I really like the pigmentation and texture of these Revlon lip butters. They are very easy and convenient to apply. And I really appreciate that these lippies are pretty much fragrance free, you can't really smell/taste anything even the ingredients. Though I wouldn't buy them at full price tag because: 1. they are not long lasting (I would say 1.5~2 hrs max); 2. you still need to apply lip balm underneath. these lip butters won't make your lips soft and hydrated...but that doesn't mean these aren't good products, I think they worth a try. I got them 40% off at Rite Aid a while back (was under $5/each), check around and see if you can get a deal to try them^^
