Revlon Nail Enamel - 85 Minted (Review and Swatch)

Happy Friday  Today I have a very pretty spring pastel nail polish to show you. Revlon Minted is a soft milky mint green polish. It's a cute and creamy mint green that's perfect for spring & summer

This mint green is very cute and pretty to look at, however, the formulation made it a bit difficult to apply, yet "workable".

The brush is a bit too narrow for this creamy and "streaky" polish to work smoothly. The consistency is a bit on the thin side, but 2 coats will give an lovely opaque finish as shown here (if applied carefully).

My first thin layer was sheer and streaky (*_*), but second thick layer yielded the opacity (aka not-see-through) I desired. I waited for the first thin layer to dry completely (so the 2nd layer will not mess up the 1st), and then applied the second thick layer quickly to avoid any streaks, clumps and unevennesses. The drying time is long (completely dry through), but once they're completely dried  (with a layer of top coat of course, here I used SV, Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat), they look so fresh, yummy and cute, definitely worth the wait.

Here is the comparison pictures of indoor with and without (artificial) light. Sometimes with the light, this minted green shows a bit toward creamy turquoise.... what do you think?

I placed my fingers on a bright turquoise plush toy, the green in this Minted showed a bit better, but if you only look at the fingernails, they somehow look like creamy pastel turquoise...don't you think? (I hope I'm not color-blind here *_*!!! ha ha ha)

Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a relaxing and wonderful weekend
