Review: Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette - In The Nude

This has been my go to everyday palette ever since I got it from Sephora's friends & family sale back in November last year. (my hual here) Sephora came out with these moonshadow baked palettes in two different ranges, one In the Nude, which is the one I got here, and one In the Dark. I swatched in the nude palette in store and instantly fell in love with these gorgeous sparkles but didn't buy until f&f sale. These shades in the palette are either neutral or warm which best meet my needs and liking

Moonshadow Baked Palette - In The Nude

What it is:
palette with a range of ten baked eye shadows in nude colors, each with a super sparkly finish.

What it does:
This gorgeous collection of glittery baked eyeshadows includes ten sultry nude shades. Each delivers a cosmic amount of diamond dust shimmer. The compact features beautiful gold-laced artwork.

This set contains 10 x 0.017 oz eyeshadows in:
Cream, Light Bronze, Soft Gold, Peach,  Taupe,
Silver, Deep Brown, Honey Brown, Deep Sienna, Plum

What else you need to know:
Each formula features high payoff pigments and textures that blend easily. Its micro glitter adheres to the skin better than regular sized glitter. Used wet, the dark shades can be used as an eyeliner with an intensified, bolder effect. (Sephora)

These are gorgeous gorgeous shimmer with very fine micro glitters. I love sparkles, and even love that they are very wearable for everyday. These baked shadows are not as dark and pigmented, but I love the fact that these shades are not overwhelmingly pigmented, but can still built up if needed.

Taupe was one of my favorite shades over the past few months. I was super obsessed with this shade, it's just so so beautiful. These shade are also very blend-able, and they stay pretty well, at least 8-9 hours with a eyelid primer. Also all shades blend very well together.

My current obsessions: deep brown, honey brown, deep sienna, ha ha maybe because it's winter?! They all work very well with lighter shades in the palette. Plum is also very beautiful, but I find myself always reach for brown-family shades. The only shade that I rarely use is silver, but it's also a very beautiful cool tone silver.

Since these are baked shadows, they can use dry or wet. When used wet, the pigmentation is just very deep and rich, very pretty. See below swatches, these baked shades are bold, more intense, great for night look.

This Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette In the Nude is available in store & online at Sephora.com for $30. I got mine back in late October last year for $28 + 20% off (f&f sale). If you love sparkles, and like to wear them during the day time without looking too overwhelming, and if you like earthy tones, this product is truly fabulous for the cost.
